Mainframe Skills Assessments
Mainframe skills assessments provide measurability vital to an effective mainframe education solution. Extensive banks of mainframe focused, scenario based questions enable you to accurately evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your mainframe workforce. As any mainframe IT manager will readily agree, this sort of data is priceless! Click here to see a list of our mainframe skills assessments.
Managers can analyse the data to identify workforce or individual skill gaps, determine future training needs, measure the effectiveness of the training currently used and calculate ROI.
Students can use the assessments to benchmark their current skill levels on a topic, and use it to re-assess and quantify their improvement as they train.
Benefits of Assessments
Core questions will always be included in the assessment and a percentage of pool questions will be randomly selected.
All questions are aligned to job competencies and the learning objectives of the courseware, and are drawn from real world scenarios
Over 90% of questions are new and do not appear in our courses. Students can not rely on route memorisation alone. Students are tested on the ability to apply what they have learnt in the courseware.
All questions will be randomised before being displayed to the user.
On average, each assessment will take between 45 and 75 minutes.
Questions and their answers are weighted, with half points awarded to partially correct answers and in some instances, a higher number of points awarded to more important questions.
Questions in Interskill's mainframe skills assessments take a variety of forms to challenge students and test their skills with real world scenarios. A selection of samples can be seen below.
